2 Pole Ramp Response
The unit ramp response of a 2 pole system is shown in the applet below.
The open and closed loop transfer function for the system is
G(s) = K/(s(T1s + 1)),
C(s)/R(s) = K/(s(T1s + 1) + K))
G(s) = K/((T1s + 1)(T2s + 1)),
C(s)/R(s) = K/((T1s + 1)(T2s + 1) + K))
with R(s) = 1/s2
The type 1 response becomes parallel to the ramp at large t(2.0, 0.3, 0.3) but may also show oscillations(10.0, 5.0, 1.0). Offset of type 0 increases with time. (1.0, 0.2, 1.0) show an offset of 1 (1/K) for type 1.
