Phase Plane for a second order system

Cuthbert Nyack
Phase plane plots have been used to provide a visual representation of the dynamics of systems. With the availability of computers it is not as useful as it used to be, but the visual representation it provides is still useful.
The applet below show the phase for a linear second order system.
This system is stable for all K and the eg parameters (16.0, 0.04, 0.3, na, 3.0) show the phase plane plot converging to the origin.
