1, 2, 3, 4 Pole Sine Response

The Sinusoidal response of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th order systems is shown in the applet below. Lower orders can be seen clearer by increasing ak the amplitude of the sinusoid(8.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.73, 1.0) . Third (8.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 2.0, 1.73) and 4th order (4.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 2.0, 1.0) systems can become unstable. When the condition for instability is satisfied the response is a sinusoid with linearly increasing amplitude(ramp envelope).
